Relevance of Politics —

Politics which is a form of activities that are based on the base of state and government and specially it is a struggle for power.

The nature of politics is always very much interesting because politics is related with the change and maintenance of the characters and existence of state. As of if there is any state there is bound to arise the concept of politics.. Therefore the concept of politics is a matter of state only. Politics is always be an essential or exclusive property of state as an association.

The leadership required within and between each nation is heavier lifting that the weak machinery of government power can manage.”

Because politics affects our lifestyle quite we all know. Politics is the science of allocation of resources for the betterment of everyone.

It requires great understanding and skills, commoner too must have a basic grasp of politics specially during a democracy – which is actually a system of check and balances.

A democracy isn’t travel by the govt alone but by both the citizens and the government. A society which is politically aware is a society that cares about its people’s well being.

In recent times political scientists have emphasised the decision making aspect of politics. Since there are some disagreement and conflicts in any type of society these must be resolved at the open level which requires that the highest authority at any level must take decision to settle the conflicts or narrowing down the sphere of disagreement.

As best put in the words of Bertolt Brecht:

“The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, whe doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in any political events of society. Who doesn’t know the value of life, the worth of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the drugs , all depends on only by political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he’s proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics. The imbecile doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and therefore the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.”
